Pinagkakatiwalaang Kalaro

IPA (International phonetic alphabet)

The IPA shows you how to pronounce words correctly. The video is what words sound like if you use the IPA. If you finish the video, you will see that I translated an entire sentence comprised only of the IPA into normal English.

EAST ASIA ARTS AND CRAFTS

 Calligraphy

Japanese Calligraphy is a beautiful combination of hand strokes, style, and gentleness. It requires careful hand movements and patience to perfect its art. I am not much of a master in Japanese calligraphy, I managed to make it and have fun while doing it. Take a look at my work.

I made this calligraphy, the characters stand for fun. I made sure that each of my strokes is perfect. I also put a blue circle to make it a bit more interesting to look at because it highlights the characters. I made sure to be extra careful in my work because Japanese characters have special lines and symbols that could mean something else if I do even one mistake. This is the process I had to go through to create this.

Origami

When you look at a piece of paper, you usually think of what you can write, instead of what you can make. Origami is the art that lets you create whatever you want using only a piece of paper. I have created a cat using the art of Origami and a few materials. Take a look at what I have made.

They look cute, don't they? but we're mostly going to focus on the on top (the orange one) I call him Bob because I am not very creative with names. Here is a mugshot of "Bob".

Bob's back

This how I made Bob if you wanted to know.

Anime

I love anime, the art style that originated in Japan. Anime is like cartoons except anime has more detailed characters. Since I loved it so much, I decided to make a portrait of myself in anime. Take a look at my work.

Pretty cool huh? You can't even tell the differences anymore, maybe except the one on top is a bit more handsome than the one on the bottom. This is how I made well, MYSELF!

The P'ip'a

This is a Pipa, it is a lute with four strings. It originated in China, where they used it to play amazing tunes. I will show you what beautiful music it produced. This is "White snow in spring" performed by Wu Man.

That was amazing, I kept repeating that again and again because that was amazing.

Harana

Harana is a form of music in the Philippines that usually talks about love and the pain of rejection. One of these songs is Dandansoy by Michael Dadap. This is my monologue on Michael Dadap's Dandansoy. Harana originally came from Spain to the Philippines and they added a bit of their own twists, ways and language making it theirs.

The Loi Krathong Lantern

This drawing is inspired by the Loi Krathong lanterns, although it might look bad for some people I put in a lot of work on making this. This is the lantern that I drew. I went with a nice simple background of blue just to make the drawing a little bit more lively.

My drawing

The way I made it is simple, I just took out my coloring pens and started drawing what came to mind and ended up being satisfied with what I made

If you noticed when I started drawing,  I drew its basic form then went impromptu I started randomly making extra designs and layers to make it a bit more colorful. The more I drew the more I enjoyed making it and thinking what I was going to do next, because art isn't about beauty its about the way you express yourself, how you feel about what you made whether you be satisfied with it or not. That's my concept of art, what about yours?
